Rigid hours are a thing of the past

At Audi, we embrace hybrid work. Whether in the office or from home and on the road – to us, both are part of a balanced working day. What we value is successful cooperation at work and enough flexibility for all the other important things in life.

Our cooperation at work – your possibilities

Some tasks and topics require you to be in the office. But depending on your role, you and your team and manager can tailor the model to suit your needs. Want to attend a meeting digitally? With us, that’s no problem. You need regular home office days? Sure. Want to work from another European country? With us, you’re welcome to do so for up to 20 days per year. Just discuss it with your team and manager, put in a request, and off you go.

New Work is revolutionizing our working world. Xavier Ros, Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources, explains in an interview how Audi is dealing with this challenge.

New Work ━ 02.02.2023

Audi is developing the working world of the future: with hybrid working models and offices that focus on people and their needs.

In the past, office space and workspaces were planned according to how many workstations and meeting rooms could fit. In future, we will ask: What tasks do employees have? What is the optimal working environment for these tasks?

„We plan new offices as individually as the needs of the people in them."

New workspaces for new thinking and even better collaboration.

We are currently testing what this could look like in practice: we have created new flexible areas with desk sharing where teams can work together across departments and skills. We offer different environments for different work needs and tasks, such as project rooms, quiet workstations and lounge areas for spontaneous meetings. Bringing people from different areas together in an optimal environment enables rapid knowledge transfer and good networking between colleagues on joint projects and helps to develop clever solutions for complex issues in a short space of time.
